The events as they stand, from past to present:
* The project begins. Megami decides she wants to have new music on Earth, and who better to put together the perfect band than the Goddess of Music herself? She hires two of her favorite demi-goddesses, Cobweb and Mustardseed, to assist her.
* We discover that Mustardseed is a few fries short of a Happy Meal. Re-realizing that she "has no soul", Cobweb attempts to alert Heaven's inhabitants by chasing them around and announcing her flaw. Meanwhile, Mustardseed dances about, getting nothing done, and driving the point home that Megami may not have chosen the best demi-goddesses for the job. But at least they're entertaining, ne?
* Cobweb has an epiphany - Carson Daly is the Antichrist. With little toleration for Music Television's current attempt at entertainment and the message it's brought to impressionable, brain-dead Mustardseed, Cobweb decides that her new mission is clear - to eliminate Carson Daly from the planet Earth, before it's too late.
* Cobweb makes an attempt on Mr. Daly's life, and he manages to avoid her attack with his super Antichrist powers. Using her lunch break to plan the assault, Cobweb prepares to rid the Earth of the very evil Carson Daly. The aim on her zapping-finger is off, however, and she instead puts an old woman out of her misery. Cobweb learns an important lesson: Never tell Mustardseed anything.
* Mustardseed is distracted from the Stardom band project just long enough to do her best Mila Kunis impression. The damage is done - Mustardseed has dedicated an entire lunch break to laying around trying to look "jaded". Cobweb looks on solumnly, now a miserable, broken person... but she finds solace in her tattered heart -- at least no one sent in the clowns.
* The new girl (Shadow) shows up and bumps into Cobweb and Mustardseed in the elevator on her way down to the first floor (Earth). The girls realize that Megami picked a good person for the job - but that Shadow just might be going for a little more of the gold than they were expecting. Oh well. If Megami picked her, she can't be that bad, right? ...it'd be more comforting if they weren't shining examples of Megami's seemingly bad judgement. But Shadow is just in it for the title - and dealing with Mundanes will prove to be more fun than she thought.
* Those who succeeded at the auditions are known to everyone in Heaven now, but Shadow's task is to remember what the hell their names were. @_@ Damned jumbled clipboard... she'll get it down. In the meantime, we'll probably see more of Cobweb and Mustardseed proving that it is a small (-minded) world after all. ...and Cobweb has no soul.
* Megami gets off her ass and does something, for once. Busy with life in Heaven and getting tickets for Cobweb's disturbing behavior waived, Megami is finally able to concentrate on the project again... jiminy crickets, folks.
* Shadow remembered the girls' names (January, Anna, and Carmen) and now she and Megami are studying up on what's hip in the world to decide what type of music the girls should play. In the meantime, the 3 girls down on earth find out that they did indeed win the contest. Kodak moment! ;_;
* Cobweb realizes that Mustardseed is actually the devil. Need I explain?
